Old Skool

Thanks to and I've recently been able to contact just about every person I've ever known on this planet. I might be missing about 5 people. It's amazing. People I thought I'd never see again in my life, that I haven't seen since 3rd grade, and people that I've always wondered about how they were doing are now just a click away.

I've had a hard time finding friends here in Spain. The Spanish (or at least the Galicians) tend to have clics not just in highschool...but during their entire lifespan. This makes it rather difficult to fit in and make friends. Jose and I are a pretty reserved homebody duet, which is just another strike against us in the area of "friend-making". So it's nice to be able to keep in touch with old friends.

The phenomenon of "poking" in Facebook still baffles me, though. Nonetheless...I poke.
